Not only that Zumba encourage you to go and move your body, but also you are being encouraged to share your happiness, videos, classes and do it with friends in a family structure.

Healthy Mood upper, Self-esteem buildup- antidepressant

Zumba is a healthy and natural anti depression mood upper

Zumba is good for your health also in terms of mood upper, self-esteem buildup and contributes as an antidepressant by stimulating optimum chemicals, neurons reactions, and function as a natural cure in so many ways.

First of all, Zumba is considered as a “happy workout” as the music is very vivid and sometimes jumpy combined with a dance party concept which allows us to get silly and jolly in our 60 minutes party.

Add to it the togetherness and community sense of feeling that can only do good to one’s loneliness, periodically bitterness bad day, depressed mood and build up of our self-esteem?

When with friends you can be you and dare to dare as no one is judging you. Music contributes dearly to one’s happiness – and this party oriented playlist does the job.

Another interesting thing I found in that department is that Zumba helps one’s be more self-centered, hence focus on self-image and less on what is going around, who’s wearing what? What is he doing in the back? Etc.

When in Zumba you’re together but also in own oneness searching and mostly finding your center which is always blessed for self-realization.

I have also found that the happy bright neon color clothing in Zumba contribute to our good mood. If its shoes, tops, leggings and other happy accessories it actually does the job.

The web is filled with “color therapy” articles and researches.  Color can play an important role in our mood levels by creating certain moods and deflecting them on others. “Warm colors often evoke feelings of happiness, optimism, and energy” and some experts found that color can have an influence on how you feel, think and sometimes act.

Physics discusses the way light breaks in our eyes a lot and the nerval-brainial affect it has on us is rather wide, or colorful for that matter.

Even the painter Pablo Picasso said that “Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions,”.

Zumba chose to give that aspect of happiness a well-respected stage in very happy color outfits. No doubt it has an impact as the colors are so bright you couldn’t ignore them even if you wanted to.

Zumba also helps prevent coronary heart disease and the upgrade functions of the heart and lungs.

Finally, It contributes to better sleep, cognitive abilities, mood boost, safe for most people and financial wise affordable and accessible. Shall I say more?

Workout? Naaaaa party? Yassss

Zumba is a health party

Zumba, when done properly is the best aerobic workout in the universe. Especially as it never feels like a workout but as a huge unforgettable fiesta.

It has been proven so many times that “it’s all in the head” and what can be better than having a “workout in disguise”? Girls and boys come from everywhere, prepared for between 45-60 minutes of mixed Latin reggaeton and other mixed Latino style music dancing ball.

The party effect Zumba offers provides the substantial benefit of being in a moderate to intense aerobic workout without even noticing you’re in a workout but in a rather huge dancing party – alcohol-free of course but who needs buzz when you got 100% pure chemicals running through your veins? Not me :).

So if I need to sum it up I would say that psychologically if you are not defined as “working out” you’ll most likely do it better and get even the best out of it as you won’t feel obligated.

We just love Zumba and love the added value of fitness it brings with it. When you dance fitnessley you extensively provide all your body needs.
